European medical answers with sources you can verify.

MedCite helps healthcare professionals answer everyday clinical questions faster -- with cited answers from European guidelines, peer-reviewed literature, and trusted national sources.

Medical knowledge is not missing. It is scattered.

Every day, clinicians need to check guidelines, medication information, or the evidence behind a treatment. But the relevant sources live in different places: national guidelines, European society statements, PubMed, drug agencies, formularies, and local protocols.

MedCite brings relevant sources together and turns them into a clear cited answer you can inspect. No more switching between five databases for one clinical question.

Built for European clinical practice

Many medical AI tools are built around US sources, US workflows, and US data assumptions. MedCite is built for Europe: European and national guidelines are prioritised, EMA alongside FDA, GDPR-first infrastructure, SI units, INN drug names, and multilingual question support.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is MedCite?
MedCite helps healthcare professionals answer everyday medical questions faster with cited answers from European guidelines, peer-reviewed literature, and trusted national health sources.
Is MedCite free to use?
Yes, MedCite is free during public beta. Ask any medical question and get a cited answer with sources you can verify.
Is MedCite GDPR compliant?
Yes, MedCite is built in Denmark with European data protection by design. No account is required during beta, and identifiable patient data is not stored. MedCite automatically removes obvious identifiers from clinical questions before evidence retrieval where possible.
How does MedCite work?
You ask a clinical question. MedCite searches European guidelines, biomedical literature, and trusted national sources. It returns a cited answer with direct links to the original sources so you can verify every claim.
Why is there a 1,000-character limit for questions?
MedCite works best with a focused clinical question. Very long descriptions often contain background information that does not improve evidence retrieval. Include the relevant patient group, condition, intervention or exposure, and the outcome you want assessed.
