Our goal is to become the clinical knowledge infrastructure for European healthcare. Not a search engine. Not a chatbot. A precision retrieval system built on verified science.

No equivalent product exists for the European market. Existing US-built platforms do not comply with GDPR, do not prioritise European clinical guidelines, and are not calibrated for INN drug naming or SI units. MedCite.eu was purpose-built for this gap. We operate under GDPR-compliant data processing terms across all third-party services, and we do not store identifiable patient data.
Europe has 1.9 million practising physicians across 27 member states. Clinical AI adoption is accelerating. The EU AI Act creates structural barriers for US competitors entering the market without local compliance infrastructure. We are already compliant by design.

MedCite.eu was founded by a team of practising doctors who needed a faster, more reliable way to access evidence during complex clinical consultations. Existing tools were either too slow, too US-centric, or not transparent about their sources.
The platform evolved from an internal prototype to production within twelve months. It is now available to healthcare professionals across Europe, with active users in Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands. Built by clinicians, for clinicians.
